‘Dakota Rose’ was evaluated as ND3574-5R and was released by the North Dakota Agricultural Experiment Station. 'Dakota Rose' was derived from a cross originally made at NDSU on March 22, 1987 between North Dakota selections ND1196-2R and ‘NorDonna’.
