'Dakota Dawn' Pinto Potato (RFP-344)

'Dakota Dawn'
is a new medium maturing fresh market cultivar developed by North Dakota State University and a specialty release in 2022. It is very flavorful with excellent culinary quality, making it well suited for urban agriculturalists and culinary artisans.
 
'Dakota Ruby' Potato (RFP-247)

'Dakota Ruby'
yields well and produces uniform, round and smooth tubers with bright skin color, white flesh, and shallow eyes. The plant has a medium to large vigorous vine and produces red-purple flowers. The plant produces abundant pollen and is useful as both a male and a female for hybridizing. The plant has no known significant susceptibilities or resistances. Tubers store well and retain their bright red skin color in storage.
 
'Dakota Russet' is a beautiful multi-purpose potato. It has a high yield of uniform tubers, resistance to sugar ends, and cold-induced sweetening. 
 
'Dakota Trailblazer' Potato (RFP-169)

'Dakota Trailblazer'
is aptly named because it is the first potato cultivar released from the North Dakota Agricultural Experiment Station with the ability to be processed into French fries.
 

'Dakota Diamond'
is named for its many attributes, including a beautiful appearance, excellent chip quality, particularly from late-season storage; resistance to common scab; exceptionally high-yield potential; and in honor of the NDSU potato breeding program being part of the North Dakota Agricultural Experiment Station for 75 years. 
 

The
'Dakota Crisp' plant is vigorous, medium to dark green in color, and semi-erect to sprawling. The flower color is white. The pollen and berry production are low to moderate in the field. Tubers of 'Dakota Crisp' are round, uniformly sized and smooth, with an eggshell skin color, white flesh and shallow eyes. The variety is medium in maturity and specific gravity.
 
'Dakota Jewel' is an early maturing, medium yielding cultivar with round smooth tubers and bright red skin. Vines are vigorous with a semi-erect growth habit and have red-purple flowers. 
 
'Dakota Rose' is a potato cultivar with bright red skin coloration and exceptionally smooth skin. 
 
'Dakota Pearl' is a medium maturing cultivar with vigorous, semi-erect growth habits and white flowers. It sheds abundant pollen and can be used as either a male or female parent in a breeding program. Tubers are round and uniform with bright-white skin, shallow eyes, and a low percentage of external defects. 
 
'NorDonna' has a large, full vine with distinct reddish-purple flowers. It is medium-late maturing. Tubers are oval in shape with bright red skin which holds their color well in storage. The eyes are shallow and well distributed. Tubers have medium-long dormancy. 'NorDonna' also has wide agronomic adaptability, can be grown successfully in diverse geographical areas under varying production practices, and performs well under both irrigated and non-irrigated conditions. 
 
A white-skinned, white flesh round-oval potato variety specifically suited to chip processing, but may e used for other processing uses such as fries and flakes. It is also suitable for table stock usage. 'NorValley' has wide agronomic adaptability, and can be grown successfully in diverse geographical areas under varying production practices, and performs well under both irrigated and non-irrigated conditions.
