'ND 18008GT' Soybean (RFP-302)

ND18008GT was developed by the Soybean Breeding Program at North Dakota State University and released by the North Dakota Agricultural Experiment Station in 2018. 

ND18008GT is a glyphosate resistant soybean variety. The relative maturity of ND18008GT is 00.8. Its early maturity makes it a good fit for the northern areas of North Dakota.

ND18008GT performed well in trials across northern North Dakota. In 2015-2017 ND18008GT produced 42.8 bushels/acre compared to 41.7 for AG00632.

ND18008GT is resistant to race 4 of phytophthora root rot. This new variety also has tolerance to soybean aphid and moderate tolerance to irondeficiency chlorosis (IDC). ND18008GT exhibits sensitivity to metribuzin herbicide.

ND18008GT has purple flower color, tawny pubescence, brown pods, dull seed coat luster and black hila.

This variety has been exclusively licensed by the ND Crop Improvement and Seed Association.  Additional information about growing this variety can be found at https://www.ndcropimprovement.com/seed/

To help ensure genetic purity, ND18008GT soybean has been protected under PVPA Title V (certificate No. 201900087) and must be sold as a class of certified seed.   

ND18008GT contains a proprietary trait that is patented with a certified seed only (CSO) clause. Only certified seed is permissible for planting. Seed may not be saved for the purpose of replanting.
